I chose these ten logos due to the fact each and every one of these logos are very simple and complex.
These logos are for food and car companies. Many people see these logos and automatically can identify the company the logo represents. Some of these logos are very popular and many people have been to or seen this company in their everyday life. Out of these 10 logos the most common ones are Subway, McDonald's, BMW, and Toyota. These companies have various advertisements to follow such as commercials on tv and also billboards or shout outs on the radio. McDonald's is the most recognized food marketing company due to its logo. The logo isn't like other fast food companies it is very simple and complex and many people recognize and know what it is. The logo helps it stand out apart from the rest of its market. Besides McDonald's having a food company it also has various clothing lines and there logo is made on shirts, hats, a sticker on phone cases etc... i have seen it in many other places then just the fast food place.

The difference between a logo and a glyph is simple. A logo is design such as a emblem or symbol that will help promote a company and expand the company in a form of advertising. Logos are mainly just symbols or icons or simply just the name of the organization. For example a BMW logo. A glyph is an element of writing and contributes to the meaning of what is written. An example of a glyph would be the ancient art of the Egyptians.

What Makes A Successful Logo Design:

  1. Educating the clients on what a logo is and how it works.
  2. "Market Research" Besides having a relatively simple shape for your logo, it needs to stand apart from the rest of the logos in that market.
  3. The logo must be memorable, in order for a logo to be memorable it must be relatively simple. Complex logos are hard to remember because we humans cannot retain too many visual details.
  4. Simple logos are very great for making a successful logo design due to the fact that simple logos are very flexible, It can be used black and white, printed on a T-shirt, embroidered on a hat, etc.
  5.  Simple logos also inspire imagination. After Japan suffered the devastating Tsunami, graphic designers from around the world were inspired to create symbols and posters to help raise money for Japan.
